In the ensuing years, Metoyer’s work has grown and deeply matured as he has exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the world. In his newest work, Angelbert moves beyond the dazzling draftsmanship he is acclaimed for, to embody a unique wholeness to the work that attempts to encapsulate the very spirit of energy. As the artist himself has said, “I want this work to illustrate the relationship between light, abstraction, and the unknown.” Within these images from the creative unconscious mind, Angelbert Metoyer is offering up to us his treasured, personal roadmaps to the infinite.
